OneSong

How For you works

OneSong uses no engagement algorithms. We never track how long you look at anything, and we never try to keep you scrolling. For you is at most 20 posts, chosen once a day, and then it ends.

How the posts are chosen

  1. The most favorited post from yesterday.
  2. The post with the most positive reactions (🙏 ❤️ ✨ 😊) yesterday.
  3. The next four posts by score, where a favorite counts 100 and a reaction counts 1.
  4. The top two posts in your country (the country on your profile), if they aren’t already shown.
  5. Two “Something new”: teachers or practices you haven’t explored yet.
  6. Up to ten posts from your interests and circles.

Each post shows why it is there, for example “Popular yesterday” or “Because you follow …”.

While OneSong is new and there aren’t many posts yet, any empty places are filled with a few starter posts from OneSong and its founder; real members’ posts always come first.

What we never do

  • Rank posts by views, clicks or time spent.
  • Show public counts of favorites or reactions.
  • Sell your attention or show ads.
  • Serve an endless stream of posts.

Following

Following is the default tab: posts from people you follow, newest first. When you reach what you’ve already seen, it says “You’re up to date. Time for a practice?”
